Artificial intelligence is being built right now by whoever shows up. WomenAILabs™ is mobilizing builders, educators, researchers, sponsors, students, mentors, job seekers, and community leaders to make sure the people building AI reflect everyone AI affects.

Our goal is bold: prove what responsible, human-centered AI can look like on the world stage by International Women's Day, March 8, 2027.

But the March to the Global International Women's Day Celebration does not start in March.  It starts now proving what AI with Vibe Coding can do to produce innovation, ethical AI, and opportunities for our community, careers and the customers we serve. 

July and August 2026 Are Our Launch Sprint

We are not asking people to wait and donate. This is not a “wait and see” people are being benefited by this work, let us bring and deliver the greatest good!

We are asking action-oriented people to engage now to build Equitable AI that creates clear career and customer benefits that are real, proven, and lasting.

Our flagship launch begins July 18–19, 2026 with HDI Chicagoland, where teams will demonstrate how Vibe Coding, responsible AI, workforce innovation, and community collaboration can create practical solutions.

This launch sprint matters because AI adoption is already reshaping work, education, healthcare, government, service, support, cybersecurity, and opportunity.

Waiting is not a strategy. Building is.  We will start with the do-ers. the creators of community and code, and from that success, create and celebrate more.  

Priority Roles to Launch the Kickoff

These five volunteer tracks will accelerate our success and launch in July–August. If one of these, is you, we need you this week.

  • University and Chicagoland Innovation Centre Partnership Lead & Land innovation center locations for 30-50 to start, up to 500 in the fall. Innovation and Campuses willing to host a popup lab or hackathon and field faculty judges. Without campuses, we miss that powerful in person vibe hackathon.
  • Vibe Coding Sponsor Lead Recruit companies to provide tools, prize tracks, and mentors for our weekend build track in July. Without sponsors, there's no Vibe Coding.  Sponsor innovators to kick off and then carry through March 2027.
  • Campus Ambassador Be the on-the-ground organizer at your school: recruit a student team, line up a room, spread the word.
  • Founding Director, Events Own the kickoff hackathon end-to-end: logistics, speakers, judges, livestream.
  • Communications Lead Tell the story in real time — social, press, LinkedIn — so momentum compounds instead of resetting every week.

Everything else — research, mentoring, tech, grants, advisory — matters, but these five unlock the powerful outcome we want to champion and celebrate as an outcome of our flagship sprint, leaders, sponsors of success.

Our Flagship Event: July 18–19 With HDI Chicagoland

The WomenAILabs™ flagship Vibe Coding event launches July 18–19, 2026 in partnership with HDI Chicagoland.

This event will demonstrate how multidisciplinary teams can rapidly create responsible AI tools that improve service, support, workforce experience, fairness, governance, and human outcomes.

We are seeking action-oriented volunteers, mentors, sponsors, students, and partners who want to help prove how this works before the fall.
