Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 January 2026
Women AI Labs ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and organisation — when you register for events, subscribe to our newsletter, submit a contact form, or donate. We also collect limited technical data automatically: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, via our server logs and analytics provider.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to send event confirmations and communications you have requested, to improve our website and programmes, to process donations and issue tax receipts, and to send our newsletter (only with your explicit consent).
3. Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to deliver our programmes (email delivery, payment processing) and only to the extent required. All processors are bound by data protection agreements.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email privacy@womenailabs.org to make a request. EU residents have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
5. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies for session management and one analytics cookie (anonymised). No advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can disable all cookies in your browser settings without loss of core functionality.
