About the role

Own the design, security, scalability, observability, and governance of integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems. Establish reusable integration patterns that reduce technical debt and improve reliability, security, reconciliation, and maintainability. What you'll do Define enterprise ServiceNow integration architecture Design REST, SOAP, API, event-driven, file-based, and middleware integrations Architect IntegrationHub and IntegrationHub ETL solutions Design MID Server architecture and connectivity Establish reusable inbound and outbound integration patterns Define authentication approaches including OAuth, certificates, API credentials, and service accounts Design error handling, retries, monitoring, logging, reconciliation, and alerting Define integration performance and scalability standards Evaluate direct API versus middleware-based architectures Establish data ownership and system-of-record decisions Design integrations with SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft, identity platforms, monitoring platforms, security tools, and procurement systems Support CMDB ingestion and reconciliation patterns Produce interface specifications, sequence diagrams, mappings, and technical designs Perform architecture reviews and troubleshoot complex integration failures Mentor developers and technical consultants Support testing, release, deployment, and stabilization Required qualifications 8+ years of enterprise integration or software engineering experience 5+ years of ServiceNow experience Advanced knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs Strong IntegrationHub and MID Server experience Strong JavaScript skills Experience with OAuth 2.0, certificates, networking, and enterprise security Experience designing integrations for enterprise-scale environments Strong troubleshooting and architecture capabilities Preferred experience Kafka MuleSoft Boomi Informatica Azure integration services AWS integration services SAP Oracle Microsoft Graph Identity and Access Management CMDB and CSDM integrations Preferred certifications ServiceNow CSA ServiceNow CAD Relevant CIS certifications CTA preferred Cloud or integration architecture certifications advantageous
