About the role

Design integrated Configuration Management and IT Asset Management solutions connecting services, infrastructure, hardware, software, procurement, contracts, discovery, inventory, compliance, and financial optimization. What you'll do CMDB and CSDM: establish CMDB architecture and governance Define CI classes, relationships, ownership, and lifecycle standards Design CSDM-aligned service models and define authoritative sources Configure Identification and Reconciliation rules; design CMDB health and certification controls Support Discovery and Service Mapping architecture; prevent duplicate and conflicting CI creation Hardware Asset Management: design hardware lifecycle processes Architect receiving, inventory, stockroom, deployment, transfer, repair, refresh, reclamation, and disposal Connect procurement, contracts, assets, users, locations, and configuration records Define model and asset governance; support physical inventory and audit processes Software Asset Management: design software entitlement and license-management processes Establish normalization and reconciliation; define compliance and optimization workflows Support publisher audits, true-up analysis, and license reclamation Integrate software discovery sources; connect SAM to contracts, procurement, CMDB, and financial processes Required qualifications 8+ years in IT operations, asset management, configuration management, or enterprise technology 5+ years of ServiceNow experience Deep CMDB knowledge Strong HAM and/or SAM experience Understanding of asset and CI lifecycle relationships Experience with Discovery and enterprise integrations Preferred experience CSDM Discovery Service Mapping IntegrationHub ETL IRE CMDB Health HAM Pro SAM Pro SaaS License Management Procurement Contract Management Oracle or SAP integrations Preferred certifications ServiceNow CSA CIS Discovery CIS Service Mapping CIS Hardware Asset Management CIS Software Asset Management CTA preferred
